Interesting development following the failed coup and considering Turkey’s recent aggressions in Iraq and Syria as well as the Kurd’s territorial gains against ISIL.

If I recall correctly, Erdogan arrested or fired 120,000ish government employees/civil servants for ties to the attempted coup.
Now it seems they’re pulling a page from the Iranian/North Korean/Chinese playbook (limit global communication to facilitate “disappearing” of persons deemed undesirable or troublemakers by the government without news spreading internationally).

Yup these guys should be full EU members. Then again, it might be a good template for the thought police to the west.
